My name is Patrick and I’m a photographer based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. I grew up in a little town called Abcoude and moved to the nation’s capital in 2004 where I’ve worked as a draftsman for an architects office and a social housing corporation. When it comes to drawing I have a preference for the historical monuments that Amsterdam is known for. But with photography I know no boundaries. I love to record the built environment whether it’s historical or new construction, exterior or interior. Because of my previous work I have a great eye for detail. Combined with a search for the right light and composition, photographing architecture and creating a memorable image completes my creative outlet.
